On February 15, the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement for the project of bearing eco-industrial park in Dalian Jinpu New Area was held in the Administrative Committee of Dalian Jinpu New Area (Development Zone Office). Wang Shouyu, Secretary of the Party and Work Committee of Dalian Jinpu New Area, Lv Dongsheng, Director of the Management Committee of Jinpu New Area, and comrades in charge of relevant departments of the Party and Work Committee, comrades in charge of relevant units of the Management Committee, and representatives of enterprises to be located in the park attended the signing ceremony and signed the “Agreement of Intention to Settle in Dalian Jinpu New Area Bearing Eco-Industrial Park” on site. Dalian Jinpu New District Bearing Eco-Industrial Park is led by the Management Committee of Dalian Jinpu New District and is adjacent to SKF’s new factory, with a planned area of 300 mu. Dalian Ragu Technology Co., Ltd, Shandong Jindi Precision Machinery Technology Co., Ltd, Zhejiang Chengben Bearing Roller Co., Ltd and Jiangsu Xingye Roller Technology Co.
Chain expansion group, leading traction to add momentum
SKF has a long history with Dalian, and SKF was one of the early enterprises to “attract big and strong” to JMP New Area, and started to build its production base in JMP New Area as early as 2005. At present, SKF Dalian production base has already completed and put into operation the third phase of the project, and the fourth phase of the plant and the R&D centre are progressing in an orderly manner, with construction about to start. The total output value of the four phases of the project is expected to reach RMB 5 billion upon completion of production. SKF Dalian production base will become the largest industrial bearing production base of SKF Group in China, helping SKF to base on JMP New Area and serve the whole country and the world extensively.
