On November 8, Shanghai ZPMC (Group) Co., Ltd. solemnly convened its 2025 Supplier Conference and the Inaugural Meeting of the Smart Port Machinery Industry Alliance under the theme “Uniting Chains for Innovation, Gathering Momentum for Mutual Success.”
As the sole bearing partner invited to this conference, SKF was once again honored as ZPMC’s “2024 Outstanding Supplier” for its long-term stable collaboration and exceptional performance. The company received an official plaque, formally becoming one of the first 39 founding members of the China (Changxing Island) Smart Port Machinery Industry Alliance—and the only bearing brand within the alliance.
Wang Hui, President of SKF China and Northeast Asia, represented the company at the key supplier symposium. Together with leaders from China Communications Construction Company (CCCC), ZPMC, and over 100 other supplier representatives, they explored building a greener, more resilient, and sustainable smart port machinery industrial chain system.
